PROJECTS

| Striving
to make our community a better place in which to live.
|
|
ARBOR DAY: “Plant
a Tree for One who comes after me.” To
help fight Global Warming and to help beautify our world, our Rebekah
Lodges contribute to this project within their own community by planting
trees or shrubs.
|
|
SCHOLARSHIPS: February
is Education Month. Each
year our individual Lodges give a scholarship to a high school student
in their community.
|
|
VISUAL RESEARCH: “Seeing
is Believing.” May
is designated as Visual Research Month. Idaho
is among forty-one states and five Canadian provinces, which have
contracts with the Odd Fellows and Rebekahs Visual Research Foundation
for local eye programs which enable the local lodge to help provide
glasses and eye surgeries to qualified individuals. We can also
help provide the 'Big Eye Magnifier Lamps' to those with vision
problems.

UNITED
NATIONS PILGRIMAGE FOR YOUTH: Each
year high juniors and seniors compete to take part in this all expense
paid educational experience. The
generosity of our members makes is possible for these students to
experience our nation’s history and learn about current events by
visiting our most valued historical landmarks.
