Melba Community Auction

In January each year for the past 30+ years, Melba has made Caramel Corn for the Melba Community Auction. We have also furnished quilts to be auctioned off. Funds from the Community Auction go to charity and to help local people with hardships.

Christmas Bazaar

As a fund raiser, each December we participate in the annual Community Christmas Bazaar.

In May each year the Melba Rebekahs have an annual fund raiser, by serving a luncheon to the Fifth Grade students graduating into the Middle School. (This was originally the Sixth Grade students). We have been doing this now for over 35 years.

Living Legacy Program

In Aril, we participate in the Living Legacy Program sponsored by The Sovereign Grand Lodge of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows. We have a flower box at the local park, which we keep filled with flowers and maintain. This year we will donate to the new high school for their landscaping project.

Member Appreciation

The members of Melba Rebekah Lodge really support their sisters. Six sisters made the trek from Melba, Idaho to Redmond, Oregon in order to present Sister Gladys Bishop (above) with her 75-Year Veteran Jewel.
